Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. in Manheim, PA seeks a detail technician to clean and prepare vehicles for auction, including interior/exterior cleaning, license-plate removal, and engine bay care. You will operate high-pressure wash systems, buff and wax surfaces, and maintain vehicle cosmetics for showroom quality.

The role requires standing/walking, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. This is a full-time, on-site position with exposure to wet conditions, and a strong

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles by removing debris from ashtrays, console, dashboard, seats, etc., and trunk/engine compartment.
• Remove license plates and stickers and clean windows as needed for Auction business.
• Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment and clean engine compartment/battery terminals.
• Detail vehicles including cleaning/dressing trim and interior/exterior windows; buff and wax painted surfaces.
• Vacuum interior and clean carpets, upholstery; straighten seatbelts.
• Operate glove box and ensure warranty literature is returned.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including driving vehicles during sale days.
