Job summary

Smart Warehousing in Gaston, SC is seeking Part Time Warehouse Laborers to efficiently pick, pack, and ship customer orders while safely loading and unloading inbound shipments. This role requires attention to detail and strict adherence to SOPs.

You will follow SOPs, perform cycle counts, maintain accurate paperwork, and help keep the warehouse clean and organized. Prior experience and basic tech skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Experience in service, production, or support roles with responsibility is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related area is expected.
• Familiarity with MS Office, web navigation and basic hardware functions.
• Proven initiative and urgency in task completion.

Responsibilities

• Follows warehouse procedures including sorting, loading/unloading, shipment processing and documentation.
• Pulls and packs products based on daily orders.
• Meets or exceeds productivity goals.
• When putting away inventory, counts, stores and checks inbound paperwork and looks for damage or discrepancies.
• Reports shortages, overages, damage, and mis-shipments to supervisor.
• Reviews outbound orders for accuracy as directed.
• Compares quantity, quality, labeling and address to ensure shipments are complete and correct.
• Safely operates machinery and assists in loading/unloading as needed.
• Completes cycle counts and inventory audits as directed.
• Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas and promotes safety.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
