AZZ Inc. in Blacksburg, SC is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead the shipping/receiving team under the Operations Manager. You will ensure proper labeling, documentation, and adherence to schedules while supporting safety and productivity.

Responsibilities include coordinating crew activities, managing bills of lading, and ensuring accurate, timely shipping. The role requires strong communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail is essential.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate shipping/receiving team activities to ensure the verification and recording of all incoming / outgoing shipments and preparing items for safe shipment.
• Requires intense attention to detail with shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to define shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping/receiving schedules and proper billing.
• Oversee and inspects incoming/outgoing shipping activities to make sure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments. Helps determines space requirements and position of shipment on various types of trucks.
• Ensures safe operation of all material handling equipment. Ensure daily Inspections of material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or notifies supervisor if outside service facility is needed for repair. Ensure team completes daily vehicle maintenance reports.
• Works with Ops Team to assist in movement of material from shipping and receiving to work areas.
• Tracks unfilled orders, posts weight and shipping charges, prepares bills of lading.
• Will assist workers in shipping/receiving activities as required.
• Performs other duties as described by management.
