Job summary

Brushy Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to join our team on a PRN basis. You will maintain clean, safe, and comfortable spaces for residents, visitors, and staff, with emphasis on creating a welcoming, home-like environment.

This role requires attention to detail and reliability, works well in a team or independently, and supports our organized, patient-centered campus. On-site managers are available 24/7 with on-call support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
• Clean public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors
• Dust and sanitize handrails and other high-touch surfaces
• Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers
• Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of caution signs and chemical storage
• Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies according to manufacturer guidelines
• Keep housekeeping carts, supply areas, and equipment clean and organized
• Report resident safety concerns promptly to facility leadership
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishing
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism
• Manage time effectively and complete assignments efficiently
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards
