Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC (KNR) is seeking a Closing Paralegal to provide clerical support on prelitigation files under direct supervision. The role includes document preparation, client communication, and other administrative duties to close cases.

The position is full-time and based in our office in Ohio, with responsibilities including case management, settlement paperwork assistance, and regular status updates to attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Three to five years relevant work experience in related fields such as insurance and/or medical billing, insurance verification or accounting
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Case management and document preparation for prelitigation files
• Communicate with clients and insurance adjusters regarding case status
• Assist attorney and paralegal manager with closing of cases, including settlement paperwork and disbursements
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate and timely file updates
• Prepare files for litigation transfer when necessary
