Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick, LLC (KNR) is seeking a Closing Paralegal to support prelitigation files under supervision. The role focuses on document preparation and review, client communications, and administrative duties related to closing cases.

The position is in-office, Monday through Friday, with heavy emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and coordination with attorneys and insurance adjusters. Candidates should have a high school diploma and several years in related fields; paralegal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years relevant work experience in related field such as insurance and/or medical billing, insurance verification or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files and logging daily mail.
• Prepare documents and review for prelitigation files.
• Communicate with clients, attorney, and insurers.
• Assist with settlement paperwork and disbursements.
• Maintain regular attendance and meet management goals.
• Support with protection of subrogation liens.
• Prepare files for litigation transfer when needed.
• Prepare weekly reports and participate in monthly meetings.
