Job summary

Cut Fruit Express, Inc. is hiring for a packaging role in a fast-paced, refrigerated facility. You will verify labels, confirm ingredients, and ensure accuracy in weights and packaging seals.

The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and working in a 35-40°F environment. Shifts run 10a–7p with mandatory overtime as needed. Benefits include medical insurance, paid time off, and a Simple IRA retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and verify labels/ingredient lists accurately.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environment (35-40°F) throughout shift.
• Punctuality and reliability; must show up as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product into boxes for shipment.
• Read packaging labels and verify products are labeled correctly.
• Confirm ingredients match what should be included.
• Check packaging is sealed correctly.
• Check product weights for accuracy.
• Run product through the metal detector.
• Ensure shipping boxes are packed and labeled for outbound shipment.
