Job summary

Cut Fruit Express, Inc. is hiring for a packaging role in a fast-paced, refrigerated facility. You will verify labels, confirm ingredients, and ensure accuracy in weights and packaging seals.

The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and working in a 35-40°F environment. Shifts run 10a–7p with mandatory overtime as needed. Benefits include medical insurance, paid time off, and a Simple IRA retirement plan.

About the job:

You'll work in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment (35-40°F), where small details make a big difference. As the last set of eyes on our products before they ship, you'll help ensure every order meets our standards. If you're detail-oriented and take pride in getting it right, you'll fit in here.

Day to day, you'll:

• Pack finished product into boxes for shipment
• Read packaging labels and verify products are labeled correctly
• Confirm ingredients match what should be included
• Check that packaging is sealed correctly
• Check product weights for accuracy
• Run product through the metal detector
• Make sure shipping boxes are packed and labeled correctly for outbound shipment

Pay / Hours / Benefits:

• $17/hr
• Shifts available: 10a - 7p, with mandatory overtime expected as needed.

• Reliable transportation (We're not on a bus route)
• Comfortable working in the cold all shift
• Strong attention to detail and able to read labels and ingredient lists accurately
