Job summary

Omni Specialty Packaging in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Quality Label Inspector to ensure labels meet specifications and support production needs. You will inspect, verify, receive, and stage labels while maintaining accurate inventory.

This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to use ERP/IFS, and proactive communication with production teams. Overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing or inventory control preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, proof, and verify incoming labels against specifications.
• Verify label accuracy including product names, part numbers, container sizes, barcodes, and regulatory information.
• Receive labels and record inventory transactions accurately in the ERP.
• Stage and organize labels for upcoming production runs.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Identify and report damaged or nonconforming labels.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and inspection documentation.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
