Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a detail‑oriented Receiving Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections on electrical components and materials at our Clearwater site. You will review COC, COA, and FAI documentation, ensure traceability, and assist in discrepancy resolution with Quality and Receiving teams.

This role requires teamwork in a fast‑paced environment, ability to follow procedures, and willingness to obtain J‑STD certification within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand technical instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience in manufacturing, receiving, inspection, assembly, warehouse, or other detail‑oriented operational work.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and system navigation.
• Willingness to obtain J‑STD certification within 30 days.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work non‑standard shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming visual and dimensional inspections on electrical components and materials.
• Verify quality documentation including COC, COA, and FAI packages.
• Document inspection results in the Quality Management System per procedures.
• Maintain traceability by assigning serial numbers and managing records.
• Communicate inspection issues to Quality and Receiving leadership for resolution.
• Safely handle materials up to 20 pounds following safety and ESD rules.
• Support discrepancy resolution and RMA initiation under Quality guidance.
• Use TIPQA, Oracle, and document management tools to support activities.
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Sourcing, Fulfillment, and Receiving teams.
