Job summary

Standard Holding Corporation in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Forklift Operator to safely move packages and materials within our facilities. This role reports to the Dock Supervisor and requires attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include unloading from inbound trailers, loading outbound trailers, inspecting forklifts, noting defects, securing freight, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and ability to handle changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload materials and load them to outbound trailers.
• Performs required administrative tasks, for inbound unloading and outbound loading.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift to determine the need for repairs and note any defects on pre shift inspection form.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facilities.
• Secure freight for transit.
• Being able to operate air compressor for airbag usage.
• Ensure freight is counted and loaded in the right DC trailer.
• Being able to perform different tasks such as working floor freight and mixed freight while keeping a good count of the goods and paying attention to detail.
