Job summary

SECO - Southeast Consolidators in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to safely move packages and materials within our facilities. The role requires pre-shift inspections, basic administrative tasks, and adherence to safety policies.

You will unload and load trailers, secure freight for transit, and maintain accurate counts while working Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm. High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading/unloading.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload materials and merchandise from incoming trailers and load to outbound trailers.
• Perform required administrative tasks for inbound unloading and outbound loading.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect forklift and report defects on pre-shift inspection form.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and orderly facility environment.
• Secure freight for transit.
• Count and ensure correct loading of goods and freight.
