Job summary

Meador Staffing, a trusted staffing partner, seeks a contract Financial Clerk in Texas City to support the Finance Department with basic accounting, data entry, and confidential financial information handling.

You will process debits and credits, maintain financial records, create Excel reports, organize invoices, and provide admin support as needed; QuickBooks Desktop experience and Excel proficiency are required; compensation is $21-24/hr.

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
• Strong knowledge in Excel.
• Basic experience in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic accounting functions, including processing debits, credits, and financial transactions.
• Complete data entry and provide general accounting support to the Finance Department.
• Enter, review, and maintain financial information within the company’s accounting system.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records through scanning, filing, and document management.
• Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and financial reports as needed.
• Assist with organizing invoices, documents, and other Finance Department records.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department and assist with additional accounting tasks as assigned.
