Job summary

BlueChip Pros is seeking a dependable janitorial specialist to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in assigned facilities. You will be responsible for high-dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, floor care, and maintaining common areas.

A focus on safety, efficiency, and courteous service is essential. Responsibilities include inspecting rooms, handling cleaning chemicals safely, and reporting issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of: Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dust surfaces above shoulder height using a high duster.
• Sanitize surfaces around the room and remove fingerprints from doorknobs.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution and restock dispensers.
• Dust mop, sweep and vacuum floors, including under furniture.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, wipe benches and glass as needed.
• Inspect room for safety and report issues to supervision.
• Provide courteous customer service and stay in assigned areas.
