Job summary

Cobalt North Partners in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain financial records and produce accurate statements. This full-time role offers a negotiable salary based on experience and qualifications, with a focus on timely and accurate financial reporting.

As part of the finance team, you will record transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare monthly and annual reports, process payroll, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficient in QuickBooks or SAP; Xero experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain all financial transactions in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and process payroll for employees, including taxes and deductions.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records and timely filing of tax returns.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasting.
• Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
