Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field or previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check figures and documents for correct entry and accuracy.
• Classify, record, and summarize financial data.

• Compile statistical accounting reports.
• Reconcile or report discrepancies in records.
