A hospitality and gaming company is seeking a talented Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Responsibilities include entering financial data, verifying transactions, preparing trial balances, and processing accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting, experience in a similar role, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks PRO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks PRO.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and transactions.
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered.
• Prepare trial balance.
• Analyze budgets and other financial information.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete required tax forms.
