Job summary

Polymer Concepts Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Assembler Level I to join our production team in California. You will assemble, inspect, and test components following detailed work instructions and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reading travelers, counting and labeling parts, maintaining 5S organization, and ensuring accurate inventories. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Aptitude for identifying incorrect part numbers and inconsistent lot numbers.
• Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Read a job traveler to determine what assembly must be completed and how to fill one out.
• Differentiate between acceptable and rejectable retainers and categorize accordingly.
• Follow the basic 5S process and keep the work area organized.
• Assemble assigned parts accurately following the work instructions.
• Count retainers used and adjust inventory for errors.
• Label final products with lot number, part number, and quantity; prepare for inventory.
