MCI, a rapid-growth tech-enabled business services company, seeks an Accountant to oversee accounting operations, GAAP compliance, and robust controls in Texas. You will prepare financial reports, post journal entries, and support month-end close with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance and 1–2 years of accrual-based accounting experience, including AR, AP, reconciliations, and bank activity. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-2 years of accrual-basis accounting including AR, journal entries, month-end closings and bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, applying manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling customer accounts.
• Record routine journal entries and bank transactions accurately and timely.
• Process accounts payable bills and credit card transactions as needed.
• Execute month-end closing activities and perform account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly.
• Provide support to team members and collaborate across departments as required.
