Job summary

South Bay Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Detail Lead to oversee daily detailing operations in a high-precision machine shop serving semiconductor, medical, and advanced tech hardware industries.

You will lead the detailing team, ensure parts are cleaned and finished to strict quality standards, and coordinate with production to meet delivery schedules. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in machine shop detailing with at least 1 year in a leadership role, strong communication skills, and a

Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in machine shop detailing, manufacturing finishing, or related environments.
Minimum 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or lead experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination abilities.
Knowledge of detailing techniques, cleaning equipment, polishing methods, and related products.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily detailing operations and ensure all parts meet company cleanliness and finish standards.
Lead detailing team, train and mentor members, and manage workflow.
Prioritize detailing work based on production schedules and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Enforce OSHA guidelines and maintain safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
Maintain organized detailing workstations and inventory levels.
