Job summary

Omega Bio-tek, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Associate to support distribution, storage, and inventory control. You will ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping, manage inbound shipments, and coordinate with freight carriers.

The role requires DOT/IATA knowledge, ERP experience, and strong attention to detail. Located in Norcross, GA, this on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for growth and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with warehouse management software or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with DOT and IATA regulations for hazardous shipments.
• Experience with freight forwarders for international shipments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and ship orders per SOP.
• Receive incoming shipments and resolve damages/shortages.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials.
• Conduct physical inventory via cycle counts.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and prepare BOL.
• Scan shipments and update in the database.
• Communicate delays or shortages.
• Maintain clean, safe work area per ISO guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
