Our client in Michigan, a leading window, roofing, insulation, and door installation firm, seeks an Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations across four entities. You will manage payables, review invoices for accuracy, and assist with banking and contract entries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or similar field) preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable, account reconciliations, and general accounting functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience working with multiple accounting software programs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable for four companies, review invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
• Audit and enter sales contracts for windows, doors, roofing, and insulation projects.
• Track and maintain commission structures and record customer payments.
• Perform daily banking activities including deposits and petty cash reconciliation.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and management to ensure accurate financial processing.
