Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Destruction Technician to join our Operations team in Dallas. In this role you will securely process and destroy all materials delivered to the facility, following safety and regulatory standards.

The position requires handling heavy loads and operating destruction equipment, with a focus on security and efficiency. You will work an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled environment, using forklift or Bobcat machinery as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or warehousing environment.
• Ability to lift heavy bags and move carts up to 225 pounds.
• Experience operating Bobcat or forklift preferred.
• Able to work an 8-hour shift in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the material destruction process, including opening bags, dumping payloads, sorting by grade.
• Operate destruction machinery safely; perform equipment cleaning and repairs as needed.
• Maintain strict security of customer material and vehicles; keep the work area clean and compliant with safety standards.
