Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Data Center Eradication Technician to join the on-site team in Rosemount, MN. You will manage media sanitization, inventory controls, and destruction processes for a major technology client, ensuring data remains secure while supporting sustainable infrastructure.

You’ll collaborate on playbooks, track chain of custody, and maintain rigorous inventory standards in a high-velocity environment, with a 8-hour Mon-Fri shift and opportunities for growth within Operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center environments or hardware repair.
• Proficiency with Windows/Mac OS and task-tracking software.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in a fast-paced physical space.
• Valid driver’s license with up to 10% travel.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sanitization and physical destruction of storage devices with precise tracking.
• Coordinate inventory and vendor workflows, reconcile destroyed media.
• Contribute to updated playbooks and document policies.
• Troubleshoot inventory variances and maintain SLAs.
• Handle secure site logistics and collaborate with global teams.
