Job summary

Futaba Indiana of America Corporation seeks a QC Destruct Lab Technician to support quality control activities in the Destruct Lab, ensuring product performance, weld integrity, and compliance with customer specs and automotive industry requirements.

The role reports to the QC supervisor and involves calibrations, testing, validations, and detailed reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, with emphasis on continuous improvement and safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Able to perform inspections, testing, calibrations and reporting.
• Supports continuous improvements and maintains quality equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and measurement devices within the Destruct Lab.
• Perform weld destruct testing and inspections as required.
• Complete lab work orders and finalize reports for Production and QC.
• Conduct calibrations, testing, validation work and supporting documentation.
• Complete correlation audits and ensure compliance with customer specs.
• Elevate nonconformities to QC Team Leader and production teams.
• Maintain 5S standards and safe working practices.
• Occasionally travel by automotive or plane as needed.
