Job summary

Futaba Indiana of America Corporation is seeking a Team Leader for the Destruct Lab to oversee QC testing, inspections, and reporting. You will direct Lab Technicians, manage test schedules, and drive continuous improvement in weld-destruct testing and calibration processes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong technical leadership, attention to detail, and adherence to IATF 16949 and Toyota Production System standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QC labs in automotive/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and TPS.
• Proficiency with basic lab measuring tools and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC Destruct Lab Technicians in daily lab operations and safety compliance.
• Coordinate lab workflows with production schedules and quality needs.
• Escalate nonconformities and drive root-cause analysis.
• Oversee weld destruct testing, cut-and-etch evaluations, and lab inspections.
• Review and sign off on lab reports and work orders.
• Ensure testing aligns with customer specs and IATF/TPS standards.
