Qualifications

• Must love to bake with ability to bake cookies, pies, cakes, and cake pops.
• Interest in cake decorating is a plus but not required.
• Candidate should be able to bake no-bake cookies and related desserts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, produces, and bakes desserts as directed.
• Decorates baked goods such as cream pies, cookies, and cakes.
• Sets mixing/blending speeds to follow recipes accurately.
• Weights and measures flour and ingredients for batters and fillings.
• Prepares garnishes and ensures proper storage and refrigeration.
• Rotates products to minimize waste and maintains dessert case.
• Cleans and breaks down baking equipment, ovens, mixers, and proofer.
• Part-time role with morning shift around 6–7am to 9–10am.

We need someone who can bake cookies (especially no bake), make pies, cakes and cake pops.

Cake decorating experience is not necessary, but a BIG advantage.

Baker Job Responsibilities:

Prepares, produces, and bakes desserts.

Decorates baked goods, such as cream pies, cookies and/or cake.

Sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions.

Measures or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers.

Prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods.

Maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.

Keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products.

Lines up baked products in the dessert case.

Utilizes any and all leftovers into usable products.

Cleans, breaks down, and puts away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.

Part time position - preferably morning shift usually 6 or 7am to 9 or 10am
