Job summary

Albert Bartlett is seeking a Despatch Team Leader at our Boston packing site. You will oversee the despatch workload on a rolling 4-on/4-off shift from 06:00 to 18:00, ensuring efficient operations and accurate loading and paperwork.

The role requires a valid Forklift Truck License and experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. You will lead a small team, coordinate with managers, and promote safety and quality in every load.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is required.
• Experience in despatch or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of the despatch team on the shift.
• Coordinate with Despatch/Production managers to cover tasks.
• Ensure loads are built and despatched correctly and with accurate paperwork.
• Check paperwork and labels to ensure accuracy.
• Highlight training and resource needs within the team to management.
• Liaise with hauliers to ensure timely despatch and load plans.
