Albert Bartlett is recruiting a Despatch Operative on the Backshift at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire. The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 18:00 to 02:15, with a backshift premium of 50p per hour.

Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, labeling for dispatch, loading/unloading, stock checks, and maintaining a safe, tidy despatch area. A Counterbalance FLT licence is required, with strong teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance (FLT) licence is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or despatch environment preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labeling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and store them correctly.
• Conduct stock checks and keep the despatch area organized.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area according to policies.

We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative on our Backshift at our Fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs

Salary: £13.70 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare items for dispatch, including labelling and documenting all necessary information.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and ensure that they are stored in the correct locations.
• Conduct stock checks and maintain an organized despatch area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, following company policies and procedures.

• Counterbalance (FLT) licence is required
• Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in order fulfilment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and tasks as required.
