Job summary

iManage is seeking a Software Engineer to join our automated test engineering team. You will build automation for validating our Windows desktop applications using Python, WinAppDriver, and Appium, while provisioning Azure VMs to support scalable test runs.

You will contribute from day one, debugging flaky tests, integrating with GitHub Actions, and assisting with CI/CD practices. A strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement drives the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of software testing or test automation experience.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Familiar with Windows OS and desktop apps.
• Experience provisioning and configuring Azure VMs.
• CI/CD concepts with GitHub Actions or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python for Windows desktop applications.
• Build and run UI automation tests with WinAppDriver or Appium.
• Provision and manage Azure VMs to support test environments.
• Integrate test suites into GitHub Actions CI workflows.
• Write PowerShell scripts for environment setup and automation.
• Develop test cases with pytest or unittest and maintain documentation.
