Job summary

CDW is seeking a hands-on Technical Deployment Lead to oversee the opening of a new hospital facility and lead the deployment of 800 Windows and Mac workstations. This role requires coordinating technicians, solving technical issues, and driving a successful go-live on site in Marina, CA.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience deploying Windows and macOS devices at scale, leading desktop deployment teams, and managing large workstation refreshes in healthcare or hospital environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows and Mac device deployment experience.
• Experience leading deployment technicians and field resources.
• Background managing large workstation refreshes, migrations, or new-site deployments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience with asset tracking, deployment validation, and issue management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day deployment activities for a large-scale workstation rollout
• Oversee device staging, imaging, configuration, deployment, and validation
• Track device inventory, asset management, deployment status, and issue escalation
• Coordinate deployment schedules around construction timelines and site readiness
• Partner with IT, networking, facilities, infrastructure, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
• Troubleshoot deployment challenges and provide hands-on technical support when needed
• Support go-live activities and ensure end-user readiness

Technical Deployment Lead (Windows & Mac Deployment)

CDW is seeking a hands-on Technical Deployment Lead to support the opening of a new hospital facility and lead the deployment of approximately 800 Windows and Mac workstations. This is not a traditional Project Manager role. We're looking for someone who can lead deployment activities from the front, coordinate technicians, solve technical issues, and help drive a successful go-live.

Top Experience Required

• Strong Windows and Mac device deployment experience
• Experience leading deployment technicians and field resources
• Experience with large-scale workstation rollouts
• Medical, Healthcare or hospital deployment experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on technical leader, not a traditional Project Manager

Responsibilities
