Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Desktop Systems Engineer to join our fast-paced IT support team on site in New York. You will provide hands-on desktop support for the corporate office and trading floor users, configure devices, manage accounts, and help keep our collaboration tools running, including Zoom.

Ideal candidates have strong Windows 11 experience, encryption tool know-how, and familiarity with SCCM/MEMCM, Intune, and cross-platform support.

Qualifications

• Provide onsite desktop support for office and trading floor users.
• Build and upgrade workstations; handle encryption tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Exchange.
• Experience with SCCM/MEMCM or similar systems (2+ years preferred).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• PowerShell scripting; Python preferred.
• Experience with Intune, macOS or Linux support.
• HFT/Finance experience is beneficial.
