Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in the Miami area to provide desk-side IT support, hardware and software troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.

The role requires 1–3 years in servicing/deploying computer equipment, strong customer service, and experience in a corporate environment. Shift is Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with opportunities to grow within the field services team. Onsite at Hialeah, FL, part of a world-class IT services firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 year experience in servicing/deploy computer equipment.
• Proven customer service background.
• Experience in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
• Physical ability to lift and move Enterprise hardware.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Desktop HW & SW, networking and VTC support.
• Perform IT service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk side Support) per policy.
• Coordinate with End User on expectations and availability for Managed Client Services.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, deploy and repair Client Assets on campus/remote locations.
• Identify potential issues impacting End User experience and take action steps.
• Meet Client SLAs & Customer Satisfaction goals.
• Escalate to Desktop Support Site Lead on major issues.
• Provide onsite shadowing to Program Field Service Team.
• Develop technical and customer skills to grow into broader field services roles.
• Follow predefined procedures and tasks in daily activities.
