Job summary

Inceed has partnered with a great company to hire a Desktop Support Technician in Carlsbad, NM. You will provide hands-on technical assistance to office users and local equipment, balancing in-person troubleshooting with asset management and end-user support in a fast-paced setting.

Key duties include L1-L2 support, hardware/software troubleshooting, ticket logging in the service system, and IT asset provisioning, all while maintaining accurate records and documentation in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training.
• 2-4 years of desktop support experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office.
• Experience using ITSM ticketing tools like ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1-L2 support for office-based users and visiting employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, phones, and AV issues.
• Support iPhones, iPads, desk phones, and computers.
• Log, track, and update support tickets in the service system.
• Provision and de-provision IT assets for employees.
• Maintain accurate records and support documentation.
• Manage local IT stockroom and asset inventory.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams.
• Support equipment testing, monitoring, and basic modifications.
