Deskside Support Technician
Pay Rate: $24/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Charleroi, PA 15022

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide comprehensive hardware and software support in a professional and fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide deskside support including hardware repair, troubleshooting, and imaging
  • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) tasks as needed
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PC hardware and software systems
  • Offer hands & feet support for server and network hardware (as needed)
  • Support and maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including tracing connections to switches
  • Support mobile devices, mobile networks, and mobile data plans (a plus)
  • Identify and resolve product failures; order and replace parts when necessary
  • Provide end-user training and document support activities
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams
Requirements:
  • Drug and Background screening
  • Reliable transportation
  • 3–6 years of experience in deskside support or related IT role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
  • Comfortable navigating multiple buildings and production floor environments
  • Experience with hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A+ Certification (not required, but a plus)
  • Experience with mobile technology and supporting mobile users
  • Familiarity with server and network equipment support
