Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our Mesa Parts Distribution Operationsteam.

The ideal candidate will provide front-line technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware, software, and networking issues. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to grow their IT skillswhile supporting a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve common software issues, including operating systems, office applications, and company-specific tools.
Assist with hardware installations, upgrades, and configurations.
Respond to user requests through help desk tickets, phone calls, or in-person support.
Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or system administrators as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and processes.
Support IT team with system rollouts, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred).
Two+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related technical role.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, etc.) are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:

Additional Information

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $62,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
