Job summary

A non-profit job training program in Miami seeks interns for a comprehensive one-year program. Interns will receive professional business and communication skills training, as well as ongoing support to help launch their careers. Participants earn an educational stipend of $525 per week during the internship. High school graduates or GED recipients, who are motivated to learn, may apply if they have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree. Successful graduates find employment or further education opportunities shortly after completion.

Job description

Year Up United is a one‑year or less, intensive job training program that provides young adults with in‑classroom skill development, access to internships and/or job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship. Participants also receive an educational stipend.

The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through our talent placement firm YUPRO Placement. Internships may be at Bank of America, American Express, JPMorgan Chase, or other leading organizations in the Miami area.

Eligibility

• A high school graduate or GED recipient
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday‑Friday throughout the duration of the program
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
• Have not obtained a Bachelor’s degree
• May be required to answer additional screening questions when applying
