Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Redding, CA. This contract-based, on-demand role requires timely, hands-on assistance with desktop systems, laptops, and peripherals at client sites.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows environments, hardware maintenance, and basic network support. Immediate start with flexible on-site assignments and no guaranteed hours.

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location. This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.

Required Skills

Work Model

• On-demand / field support role
• Work assignments will be shared by the Service Delivery Team
• Engineers will be contacted via phone or email when support is required
• Engineers will receive site location, SPOC details, and reporting time before each assignment
• No guaranteed number of working hours
