Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in Niskayuna, NY.

Role Description

• Beginner knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
• Hands-on experience with Windows and iOS corporate devices
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve incidents and execute change tickets
• Install business and common applications (e.g., Microsoft, third-party tools, enterprise applications)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices

Skills & Requirements

Must Have Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing technologies such as:
• Microsoft Desktop Family Operating Systems (Windows 7/10)
• Beginner knowledge of Active Directory and GPO
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, network devices, and cloud services

Good to Have Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Client interaction and escalation management skills
