Overview: Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for end users in a professional environment. This position focuses on desktop support, device deployments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting both Windows and Mac environments and enjoy working directly with users to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities: Provide hands‑on desktop support for end users. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware. Support Windows and Mac operating systems. Perform imaging, device deployments, software installations, and upgrades. Troubleshoot printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues. Assist with hardware replacements and workstation setups. Provide technical support for students, faculty, and staff. Document issues and resolutions while maintaining a high level of customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Preferred Experience: Previous Tier I or Tier II Desktop Support experience. Experience supporting Mac and Windows environments. Experience with hardware and software installations. Device imaging and deployment experience. Printer support and troubleshooting experience. Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting. Strong customer service and communication skills. Experience supporting users in an educational, healthcare, or enterprise environment is a plus.
