Position: Desktop Engineer

Work Location: Remote with onsite as needed (training at Addison, TX, office; possibility to become fully remote within DFW metroplex)

Work Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in an IT environment
• Proficient in Windows platform deployments and troubleshooting desktop systems, software, peripherals
• Strong customer service skills with attention to detail
• Experience with mobile device deployment (iPads, tablets) via MDM
• Knowledge of local network and application performance troubleshooting
• Experience with Citrix Workspace (highly desirable), Microsoft Active Directory (required)
• Knowledge of SQL Server and scripting (highly desirable)
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Citrix, Cisco CCNA, or Network+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain and plan for desktop environment needs
• Support end users and remediate vulnerabilities
• Escalation point for complex Windows issues
• Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and AutoPilot
• Create documentation and user guides
• Monitor desktop infrastructure performance and suggest improvements
• Manage software packaging, reporting, troubleshooting
• Perform hands-on fixes, system upgrades, backups
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot
