Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a hands-on Tech Bar Support role in Indianapolis. You will handle walk-in support, imaging, device provisioning, and asset management while ensuring security and SLA adherence.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, A+ certification, and familiarity with Windows 11, M365, Teams, VPN, printers, and mobile devices. Onsite work with standard benefits and post-offer screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience providing walk-in Tech Bar support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and standard apps.
• Strong customer communication, ability to explain technical issues clearly to end users.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving with diverse users and resolver groups.
• Experience supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, VPN, printers, mobile devices, and basic Mac OS issues.
• Knowledge of incidents, service requests, and knowledge management using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Ability to prioritize walk-in requests, manage queue volume, follow processes, and meet SLA expectations.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and handle device movement.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line Tech Bar support for walk-in users, including issue intake, troubleshooting, resolution, and escalation.
• Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, mobile devices, printers, collaboration tools, and standard business apps.
• Support new hire onboarding, device setup, user profile configuration, software installation, and basic hardware replacement.
• Perform Windows 11 imaging, workstation provisioning, device refresh, and endpoint configuration per customer standards.
• Ensure all Tech Bar activities follow security, compliance, privacy, and customer process requirements.
• Maintain accurate asset records for device issuance, returns, swaps, and depot stock coordination.
• Create, update, and manage ServiceNow tickets with clear work notes, categorization, and SLA adherence.
• Provide professional, customer-focused support at the Tech Bar and coordinate with resolver teams, vendors, and field services.
• Maintain onsite availability during Tech Bar hours and support nearby offices as needed.

Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support.Experience: 1-3 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $35,500 to $76,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
