Haworth’s largest, global contract furniture dealer is seeking a Project Designer in the Seatle/Redmond area to design, specify, order, manage and closeout assigned projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers and vendors to meet client needs and adhere to established processes.

A bachelor’s degree in interior design/architecture and 3+ years of design experience are required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS/Google Suites is required, with advanced Excel skills preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years design experience.
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD and advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suites.
  • Advanced MS Excel capabilities preferred.
  • Must have outstanding people skills due to constant client contact.
  • Prior project-spec experience or Haworth furniture dealership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project drawings, scope, schedule, and budgets for assigned region and client locations.
  • Track hours and activities for design and project management.
  • Interface with project managers and vendors, adhere to processes and procedures.
  • Assist project team in creating quotes, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
  • Attend project update meetings regularly.
  • Duties may be added, removed, or changed at management discretion.

Job Location: Seatl - Redmond, WA 98052Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 SalaryFull-time position available with Haworth’s largest, global contract furniture dealer. Established in 1981, we are a 2nd generation, family-owned company looking for the ideal candidate to join our team.

Our clients range from local co some of the largest companies on the globe with projects ranging from a single office to a fully furnished new building.

The Project Designer will be required to Design, specify, order, manage, and closeout all projects to which he/she is assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Management of all Projects’ drawings, scope, schedule, and budgets as identified, for the Region for our assigned client. Projects could take place in, but are not limited to, any of the customer buildings.
  • Tracking of all hours and activities, both Design and Project Management.
  • This position will interface with Project Managers and other vendors and will require adherence to all processes and procedures currently established or in development.
  • The Project Designer will assist Project Team in creating quotes, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
  • This position is an integral part of the team and will attend project update meetings regularly.

Duties and responsibilities may be added, removed, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.F.A.) from a four-year college or university in Interior Design, Architecture, or related industry; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+years Design experience.
  • Proficiency using Auto Cad along with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suites of products required.
  • Advanced MSExcel capabilities preferred.
  • Must have outstanding people skills as constant client contact is required.
  • PriorProject-Spec experience or equivalent preferred, as is previous experiencewith Haworth furniture or othermajor furniture manufactures, at a dealership or manufacturer level.
