Job summary

FURNITURE MARKETING GROUP INC, Haworth’s largest global contract furniture dealer, seeks a Project Designer to design, specify, order, and manage projects from inception to closeout. The role involves interfacing with Project Managers, vendors, and clients, ensuring schedules, scopes, and budgets are met.

A 3+ year design background with AutoCAD and strong MS/Google Suite skills is required. Applicants with prior Haworth dealership experience will have an edge; the position offers competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3+ years of design experience and project involvement.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; strong MS/Google Suites skills.
• Experience with Haworth furniture or dealership/manufacturing projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, order, manage, and closeout projects assigned to the region.
• Manage project drawings, scope, schedule, and budgets; interface with project managers.
• Assist the team in creating quotes, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
• Attend project update meetings and adhere to established processes.
