Closets By Design - Tampa is seeking a talented designer to join our team in Florida. You will begin with five days of intensive training in design and drafting, then visit clients on in-home appointments to showcase custom Closets, Home Offices, Pantries, and more.

During the guaranteed pay period you will earn income while you learn, with performance metrics guiding your progression to a commission-based structure and uncapped earnings potential.

• Driver's License and vehicle required.
• Ability to commute to St. Petersburg, FL for training.

Responsibilities

• Attend 5 days of intensive classroom style training on design and drafting and then go on first appointments.
• Build product knowledge and develop a customer pipeline during training.

Designers at Closets by Design begin their career with 5 days of intensive classroom style training on design and drafting and the formula for successful in-home selling. Immediately following the classroom training, designers are sent on their first appointments.

Designers will begin on a guaranteed compensation plan for up to six months, providing a stable income while building product knowledge, completing training, and developing a customer pipeline. Compensation during this period will be paid according to the company's guaranteed pay plan, provided performance expectations and employment requirements are met.

At the conclusion of the guaranteed pay period, Designers will transition to a commission-based compensation structure, with earnings based on individual sales performance. High-performing Designers have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions, with income directly tied to sales results.

Designers earn as follows:

• Training period three to six months: $3,300/mo. training pay
• Typical after first 3 months: $4,000/mo. commission based
• Typical after first year: $5,000 to $7,000/mo. commission based
• Above average designers: $80K to $120K per year
