Job summary

ZCS in Oregon City is seeking a Designer to develop project designs and construction documents for single and multi‑discipline projects. You’ll leverage your design knowledge and communication skills to support projects from concept through construction documents.

The role involves applying codes, reviewing RFIs, collaborating with partners, and assisting during construction. A Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering, willingness to travel, and strong technical abilities are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited program.
Strong critical thinking and clear written and spoken communication.
Willingness to travel across the state as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop project designs and construction documents for single and multi-discipline projects.
Generate design and construction documents under senior staff oversight for various buildings.
Apply applicable codes and regulations to ensure project compliance.
Assist on construction through RFIs, submittals, and site observations.
Collaborate with in-house disciplines, owners, architects, and sub-consultants.
