Job summary

VALANCOURT INTERNATIONAL, LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Designer I - Contractor to join our multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Assist with design concepts, sketches or models.
• Assist with developing graphic standards including fonts, symbols, and color palette.
• Assist in conceptualization and ideation of environmental graphic design elements.
• Assist with wayfinding, signage and environmental graphics.
• Assist with signage programming plans and message schedules.
• Assist with on-site surveys and analysis; business travel may be required.
• Collaborate with Project Designers, clients, engineers and production specialists.
• Support construction administration tasks.
• Help develop client presentations and fabrication/construction details.
• Assist with reports and design guidelines; conduct cost/materials research.

Role Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Designer I - Contractor to join our dynamic team. The role will primarily be located in Atlanta, GA, but will allow for some remote work. TheDesignerwill be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with providing design solutions for various clients. The individual will work with a team of designers, planners, and consultants to create prototypes and apply design thinking to provide effective product development solutions.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Graphic Design, Planning or a closely related discipline is required.

• Skills in AutoCAD and Sketch Up
• 3D CAD, Rhino, and Fusion 360 knowledge
• Experience in Revit /BIM

• Client Site: ~10% (as needed)

Travel:

Occasional, based on project needs.

Compensation:

Hourly, commensurate with experience.
