Network Building + Consulting is seeking a Designer I to support project teams in telecom site development. You will create engineering drawings, learn client equipment usage, and contribute to macro and small cell site designs.

Responsibilities include AutoCAD drafting, task tracking, CAD standards adherence, and learning construction methods to ensure practical, constructible designs for fiber optic and wireless deployments.

Qualificações

• Technical degree or appropriate commensurate experience required.
• 0 to 3 years’ experience with the production of engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to work autonomously without supervision required.
• Experience with the production of civil engineering drawings for new site builds, upgrades and fiber optic networks (or similar site engineering drawings) required.
• Utility experience preferred.
• Ability to review site documentation and gather necessary information to complete the assignment.

• Maintain NB+C CAD standards and templates.

• Read and analyze existing blueprints, construction drawings, and plans.
• Routinely produce accurate drawings promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to complete CAD drawings independently in a timely manner.
• Learn construction methods best practices.
• Evaluate the design for constructability.

Designer I

The Designer I will support the project teams with varying degrees of direct project responsibilities while developing a baseline knowledge of the telecommunications site development process. Project work will focus on new site development of macro and small cell sites, the modification of existing telecommunications facilities, fiber optic networks, and other project types as required. Responsibilities will focus on the completion of design drawings while developing an understanding of client-specific telecommunications equipment and their usage.
