Pyramid Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Designer - Handbags in New York, NY to lead seasonal product development from concept through final execution. This role is fully onsite and targets a commercially minded designer who balances trend, construction, and cost to build compelling handbag collections.

You will develop seasonal concepts, manage CADs and technical packages, collaborate with merchandising and vendors, and provide guidance to junior team members.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of handbag, accessories, or related product design experience.
• Strong understanding of handbag construction, materials, hardware, technical development, and costing.
• Experience managing products from initial concept through development and production.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing, margins, and retail trends.
• Proficiency in CAD and industry-standard design software.
• Excellent creative, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience partnering with factories, vendors, and cross-functional product teams.
• Ability to manage multiple seasonal priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review product construction, materials, fit, quality, and costing to ensure design standards are achieved.
• Present seasonal concepts and product recommendations during internal and customer-facing reviews.
• Support private-label and account-specific product development as needed.
• Provide creative guidance and feedback to junior design team members.

Our client, a fashion accessories brand, is seeking a Designer - Handbags to lead seasonal product development from concept through final execution. Based in New York, NY, this role is fully onsite and is ideal for a commercially minded designer who can balance trend, creativity, construction, and cost to develop compelling handbag collections.

Job Duties Include:

• Develop seasonal handbag concepts, collections, and product assortments from initial research through final design
• Research market, trend, color, material, and competitive insights to inform product direction

• Partner with merchandising, sales, and product development teams to balance design vision with pricing, margin, and customer needs
