Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York City is seeking a Senior Designer for the Girls Design team to help shape seasonal concepts and drive trend direction for fashion-forward girls’ apparel.

You will design CADs, prints, and technical sketches, research trends, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes, and collaborate with merchandising, technical design, and production to ensure fit, quality, and cost targets are met. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Apparel, Fashion Design, or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of experience in apparel design and product development, with demonstrated ownership of categories or seasonal collections.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and strong technical sketching skills.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and production processes.
• Proven ability to lead projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
